Reg PIO card

Guys

I have successfully applied the PIO card..

I have sent a notorized birth certificate
14Q mentioning our names and details (Parents) sent a copy of our notorized passport...

155$+5$ (postage charge)
4 photos
Pranav original passport..

Hopefully they dont call for anymore info...

Good luck guys ...

I am planning to go to india in august.. once i come back from india i will pay another 25$ and get OCI.. i dont wanna waste around 100$ now for direct OCI appln..

I went home and read the form once again and got a little confused.

Why cant we give our details for 14th question? we are PIO's, proof of address is your passport, and we know our date and place of birth. What do you think???

Veenu and PP, You guys have been to India, Can you give us more information on question #14

BTW...Did you manage to get Yash's finger prints on the aaplication form. Believe me its not easy when they are awake. I tried yesterday, so I am planning to try again today when she is asleep.

later i read the note carefully it actually says Applicant is a Spouse of a citizen of or a person of Indian origin....
what they mean is if the applicant is spouse of a citizen of India or spouse of a person of Indian origin....which yash is not...

so i think either parent information should be entered there and passport as proof is ok

i am thinking of giving them a call and verifying what i think....they accept calls between 2-4 for answering..i was just trying the same...
if i do get the answer i will post a message...

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
