My 8 month old baby does not sleepling in night from past on 20 days. Earlier he use to have milk several time during the night but I tried not to feed him in night. After that only he has started waking up. He sleeps about 10 - 10:30 pm amd wakes up at 3 pm after that he need milk to go back to sleep. and then he again wakes up at 6 am. can anyone tell how can I make him sleep throughout the night without waking. How should I gv my baby night baths. I have tried but he does not sleep. Tell me does bed time bath works.

Hi,

There are many books and stuff on how to get your baby to sleep at night. Personally I don't think they work, at least not with the parents I know here. My baby is almost 10 months and he still wakes up at least 2-3 times in the night. If you're breast feeding, just feed him and let him sleep. I think that's teh best, because they won't wake up if they're not hungry.

Also, I'm not very much for a solid feeding late at night. The last solid meal my baby has is before we eat, and ideally there should ba some gap between a solid meal and baby's night sleep. Hope this helps...I guess it's all a part of being a mom, looks like we'll get some sleep only after they start college archana replied. if you have started giving him solids give him heavy dinner around 8 or 8:30 and before making him sleep give him enough milk which will not make him hungry
bed time bath doesnt help much because some kids become active after a bath
and also dont make the baby have more than 2 naps a day an overall of 2 hrs sleep in the day bydoing this the the kid will feel sleepy in the night
