hello eveyone
iam from nov 05 board..my daughyer prisha was born on oct 31,...i read all the posts and i find this group very friendly so i thought of posting a msg..my prisha is 5 mnths old now.she is completely bf..i give her rice cereal once a day..she does not eat twice..i have started giving her veg from yesterday..i gave her carrot.she liked it...should we give the greens or not...
sireesha were u also from nov board...i just had a dbt so i asked
love to all the little ones

welcome to oct board..prisha is a nice name..u can slowly increase the quantity..also try green veggies like peas, beans..my daughter liked it..but cereal she doesn't like it..

According to my due date i belong to Nov board but my daughter was born three weeks early so i landed in Oct board.
So hows little Prisha doing>?send her pics. we recently celebrated Rheas annaprasana.
Share ur views often and i think Oct board is very active compared t other boards.Luv to Prisha

Welcome lavanya!! Prisha is a very different(good) name...what does it mean? and we would like to see prisha's pictures.

Carrots are good. Is it gerber food or home-made? if it is gerber food, its fine..but if you are making veggies at home, you need to be a little careful.

And greens, you can start green beans or peas now. but if you are refering to leafy veggies(like spinach) wait till the baby is atleast 6 months old(it is safer to wait till 8 months).

It is better to give fruits 1 month after you start veggies. And its a good idea to research a little bit before you start anything new to your baby.

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
