My due date was 22nd april. I overdue by 4 days.
Day by day I am frustating. doctor said they will monitor baby twice a week.In that some advice me to take castrol oil and spicy food for induction.Is it really good to induce naturally or artificially? I am thinking may be my baby is still growing so why to induce myself. But secound time I thought big baby may lead for Csection.
I am really nurvous.my time are going very hard.
yesturday my mucous came off it was clear. I am 1cm dilatated since 36 week. last week my doctor said my curvix became soft. I donnt know then why the things are going slowly.
Please give me advice.

I understand your concern. But do not worry about this too much, you don't want to stress and cause stress to little one in side you.

It may not be a bad idea to stick to diet to induce naturally.

To deliver or not on the EDD is solitarily decision between care provider and patient. Some Drs. are flexible about this and some do not. Not that all postterm babies are bigger and would go for C-section. The C-section possibility is discussed as there is chance for baby to grow more otherwise possibility remains even for deliveries prior to 40th week, so don't worry about it.

As long as your Dr. monitor baby and fluid quantity as frequent as possible you have nothing to worry.

Now that your mucus plug is off you may deliver this baby in 2-3 days. Try to stick to diet suggested by Dr. and take warm shower each day.

Mostly as said by Bhargavi RELAX, you don't want to strees out your baby!

dont get upset or frustrated specially at this crucial time.as u r in ur 41 week,probably ur doc will wait for 1 more week and also check wether u reported the last day of ur menses correctly with another sono probably.
if everything is ok,and u dont end up in labour u will be induced and there is no harm in doing so.
