don' t worry and don' t lose sleep for this even i was very worried mother beacause of the same problem my daughter is now 1 yr but she was not use to sit by her own till she completed 11 months i was very worried ans almost every month i use to visit doc and he told me every visit that don' t worry and wait till 15 months and he was right my daughter suddenlt started sitting and than crawling when she cpmleted 11 months and u know my elder daughter started sitting in 6 months and strated crawling in 7 months and stared stll walking in 10 months .that means every child is different and so do the milestones for them so don' t aompare ur child wid any one ur son will strat sitting and crawing when his muscles will tonned up properly and yes on very imp thing don' t force him for any thing other wise it may hurt his back bone muscles so enjoy his naughty ness .everything is well if his growth is good so take care ......and smile.... As child is active and if other motor developments are fine I can wait for some more time. If you think, nothing wrong in consulting a paediatrician. Don' t lose your sleep on this.
