how r u doing and little Sachi ? what r her updates.rhea is doing good . i strted her rice cereal at 5 months .intially add 5 spoonns of milk to 1 spoon of cereal and slowly make it thicker and increase the quantiy. at 6 months i strted gerber but rhea seems to hate them . she vomitied every time. we r planning to celebrate her annaprasana on coming thursday that time i'm planning to give her rice with moong dal adding little veg.do u hv any idea when we can start feeding her banana?what else keep in touch.take care.luv to sachi. I will start solid next month when Saachi completes 4 months..she is a chatter box....non stop talking...and the pitch is really high...even manages to scold her toys if they don't move when she wants them to! She has started arching her back, kicks with her heels, holds and moves her head all around on tummy too but has not rolled over yet...they roll over from back to tummy first, right??..have forgotten all that with Anmol..its been 7 years!!
I do remember, however that banan wsa the first food I gave to Anmol..a very ripe banana. Tehn gradually I started with cerelac, khichdi with rice, dal and veggies, also rava kheer...the problem here is that docs don't let u give normal milkuntil a year...Nothing like that in India when Anmol was born!
I am planning to introduce bottle sometime next month too ..lets see...even if she doesn't take, I will mix some formula in her cereal!...she is a very lean and tall baby...may be she will gain more wt when I strt the formula...
