Hi friends,

For the past 3,4 days Rishi is behaving as though he is back to month 1. He gets very cranky at night and does not feed properly during the day. Yesterday I was awake the whole night with him and he wanted me to put him on my shoulders and walk through the house. He would scream like in pain when I put him down. He will just watch all the objects and would not let me stand at one place or sit. I have to keep walking.

Now the whole day he is sleeping, I woke him up once, let him cry and fed him. He has not even latched for 3 minutes after 4 hours of sleep. How is this possible? I am very worried about his weight gain.

He plays by himself or plays with me for about 2 hours in the evening and 2 hours at night. At midnight he gets cranky and does this. We can easily make out that he is very sleepy, but he will keep his eyes open with great difficulty and ask me to walk.

Thank God, my mom is with me. Hats off to all of you who are managing alone. I can't imagine how you all are managing. Great... am so frustrated.

Sush, I had been anaemic all my life and so that may be the reason for Rishi's Hb being low. I had always wanted to donate blood and eachtime sent back hearing my Hb is low!!!
Thats what the doc says the reason should be. She said he will pick up slowly but he looks pink enough and so not to worry.

Are your babies sleeping at a stretch these days? Why is his routine suddenly changed and when will it get back to normal. I want atleast 3 hours of sleep at a stretch at nights which I was getting from his week 9 and 10. Now I don't get a shut eye more than 20 mins at a stretch at nights!!!!!!!!! Feel like crying...........

Sid is also doing the same past few weeks, (atleast 15-20 days now)..He was waking up every hr at nite and sleeping at a strecth of 2-3 hrs in the morning..But now he sleeps at night only if i hold him or put him on my tummy.I have been sleeping on my couch past 2 days..:-(.If i put him down, he screams..doesnot drink for more than 5 min and wants evry hr..I was thinking that he mite be scared becoz of the newplace but seems like its a phase.Sometimes he does as if he has forgotten to latch on.I m planning to take him to the Dr in a few days, lets see wht she says abt this.He is 3nhalf months old buut no routine at all..I am managing alone now and hoping things will get better..:-)
