Due Date Club April 2004:contractions are not long enough..

hi all, my due date is apr 15th/17th. I started getting contractions from 15th early morning, but they stopped at 6:30 am. anyway, Went to hospital to hceck the baby movements. everything was fine with the baby. Again today morning at 3:00 am, I felt like my water was broke when I urinated, again rushed to the hospital, but they told my water was not broke. I got my contractions again, but they're not regular enough. by yesterday, I was 1cm dilated. Don't know why contractions are not regular for me, really waiting for this to be over since I already went to the hospital twice. Any way I have my doc appointment today. He already scheduled for induction on 19th. Hope things will go smoothly. Please pray for me and my lil one to have a safe and normal delivery.

Sree,
Irregular contractions are false labor, Braxton hicks. As long you do not face contractions constant and spaced about 5-10 minutes interval they are not real for labor.

You will be very normal. Braxton hick helps to bear labor pain, you are on test:)

dont worry. contractions are very erratic during the initial stages. be patient and they would regularize soon. I doubt you would need to be induced even.
