Due Date Club May 2008:Eating Schdule

Hi all lets discuss what all we eat & do we need to make any changes..here it is..be honest no cheating...
I get up at 7.30 & I eat 8 almonds & a full glass of milk with 1 spoon of Horlicks.
Then in mid morning around 10.30-11 again i take milk with cornflakes or 4bread with butter.
at 1.30 or 2.00 I eat lunch two chapati,rice with any green vegetalble or dal.
then at aroun 2.30 to 3.30 I take a nap.
around 4 I eat 1 apple +1 banana
5.30 again i eat some fruits like orange or again bread.
7.30 watermelon or some juice.
9.30 dinner either 4 chapati with vegetable or Dal rice.

Is it ok or do i need to make some changes...also let us know what is your eating pattern?

I think all of u have a pretty balanced diet.My day starts around around 6.30 or 7 on weekdays.Nowadays iam soaking 5 almonds the previous night.I take that first thing in morning.Then i take around 1/2 cup of tea and drop my son at his bus stop.Before that i have to prepare breakfast for my husband and child and feed my son also.I used to drink one cup of soya milk.Sometimes i mix that with cereal and have it for breakfast or have around 3 slices of bread with butter and jam.For some reason i just cant eat a breakfast,may be really tensed about the day in front of me.Then i have to pack my lunch and rush for work.At work around 10 i take a small snack which could be a cereal bar or sometimes a cookie.For lunch i take rice with sambhar/rasam/curd with vegetable dish/non veg dish.nowadays iam taking 2 gulab jamuns.then after that i dont know why,i keep feeling hungry every 2 hours.if i dont eat i will get nausea.for my evening snack i take fruit yoghurt,then a yoghurt drink.When i come home around 5(again times r really variable) i may take an egg.then next snack a banana or a fruit.by evening i start feeling very very sick in the stomach.Sometimes i still have vomiting episodes in the evenings.Pretty much unfortunately i dont like any food.I just eat because iam hungry.Then for dinner i try to take 2 to 3 chapathies with subji or same food as my lunch.then i take my prenatals.i drink plain soda to give me some relief.i drink one cup of soya milk again at night time.I dont think my diet is very much balanaced but i have improved a lot compared to what i used to take one month back.Its very difficult to juggle between household work,office work,child and his enrichment classes and homeworks and driving between places to reach \" on time\" .My husband tries to help but he comes home late.Whenever i have to cook i have noticed that i have a huge vomiting episode.
my lunch time varies according to my work lunch time.i work at a doctors office with variable timings everyday.Now the doctor has gone for vacation so iam pretty much having a peaceful time,atleast iam able to take my snacks when iam hungry.Once she is back she has her clinic open from 9.30 to nearly 1.30 on mondays wednesdays and fridays and alternate saturdays.then on tuesdays and thursdays from 3 to 6.She wants to manage her office with just me.so pretty much the snacks in middle i will have to dodge around and eat or probably gobble. because i dont have to stamina personally to last from 9.30 1.30 without taking even a small snack.USually lunch break is at 12.30.
I know i have to make some improvements to my diet.Also i need to ask my obgyn about calcium and iron supplements.

I think u having a very balanced diet.My day starts of around 9am with a glass of milk & then aroung 10am i have breakfast with some fruit. Afternoon i have lunch mainly rice,dal ,vegetable.I take a nap.Eveing tea with some cookies ,friut.Dinner is chappati,rice,vegetable.

hii soumya Yes i take calcium tablet once in a day...actually doctor has prescribed me 1 Natalcare tablet which includes all the vitamins including Iron & 1 calcium tablet both the tablet i have to take in two diffrent time so I take Natalcare with breakfast & Calcium with lunch also for hormone balance she has given me Duphaston which i take twice in a day.
