Hi All,
It has been 4 months (4 periods)since my miscarriage and we are planning to conceive again. I have a doctors appointment soon and would like to know if you all have any suggestions about what all i should ask the doctor before we try to conceive.

Since i didn't have a D & C after my miscarriage i am also a little worried whether my uterus has expelled everything from the previous time.
Thanks in advance.
take Care
Love
Megha

Hi Jasmin,

Thanks a lot for your good wishes....my appointment has been postponed to next week (20th) now and will let you know how it goes.
And don't you worry about your spotting...i think irregular period and abnormal flow or spotting is common after the D & C...ask your doctor..i think it takes some time for your body to return to normal rythm.
Just cheer up and keep yourself happy ..divert your mind by keeping yourself busy with family.
Take Care and and eat healthy ...i will pray for you and i am sure good things will happen to you very soon.
SO good luck for your Doctor's appointment on 12th.
Love and hugs
Megha

Dear Megha,

That's Great that u already had your blood work done. Just ask for u/s. My spotting stopped after 2 days. I was on complete bed rest. I don't know what caused it. But my doctor is checking me for some cervix problems because of earlier D&C's. I am soon going to enter in 12th week. So, feeling better. But mind always remains occupied with bad thoughts.

Well, good luck for ur appt. Let me know abt it.

Take care

Hello Megha,

According to what my doctor told me when I miscarried, one can start trying again after 3 periods. You are lucky that u don't have D&C. It can create other comlications. Don't worry because if u have something in uterus, you may feel some pain. If ur periods are coming normal as before, nothing to worry about. In my case doctor did some blood tests because of some other problems. But you can ask for u/s for ur satisfaction. Also, ask for precautions you need to take. You had your pap smear done...that's good. If u have some specific questions in mind..u can ask. If i remember something I will write to u again. Good Luck for ur appt.

sorry for not chkg ur message earlier

Take care
lots of luv

Thanks for your advices Sweety..i shall ask the doctor for an ultrasound because sometimes i do get a slight pain in lower abdomen (but that could be muscular too). Also i have already got bloodwork done with pap smear.
SO how are you doing now? Has your spotting stopped ? Hoping the best for you ahead. Take Care
Love

Infertility is a very hard thing to hit a woman. I can't imagine what it must be like. My sister went through it. She was told that she was infertile by her doctor. But then my sister went to various fertil... - Lillian [View Message]

Hey Richa, hope you are doing well. I am sorry to hear about it.I know what you have gone through.
