hi,

i am 18weeks pregnant and my doctor said that i would be having an ultrasound when i'm 22weeks pregnant...i have read somewhere that ultrasound should be done between 18-20weeks...is it ok to have an ultrasound so late....would it delay my chances of knowing about my baby....i desperately need an advice...please someone help me...thanks

Hi,Please do not worry for being delayed or anything. Actually I am surprised that how come Dr.has recommended you for a first Ultrasouund on 18-20 weeks pregnancy. As per I understand they do the first one at the end of 12 weeks and second at 20 weeks and third in the 28th week. If you are naturally growing and feel healthy please do not worry you and your baby are fine. Wait for the ultrasound and yes don't forget to get the pictures of the ultrasound.
