Hi Mumtobe & Ruchika,
I too have all these pains you girls have described in your messages, Pelvic area pain, leg cramps and acidity. As we have discussed what to do for the first 2, let us see about this Acidity. I used to have lot of acidity feelings in my first trimster and thank goodness, not now. But I usually drink some tea which I make with lot of ginger pieces in it. I have also tried Ginger Ale which I read on the net and found that good for acidity problems. Give it a try and let us know.
As per my due date(you have asked for it in your earlier message), it's Aug 9th and this my second baby!!

hi muma to be. what a coincidence!my due date is also 29th aug.u r right that if u sleep on left side it is best for both of us -mon as well as the baby.regarding the leg cramps my doc. is saying that do keep two pillows towards ur feet side and then sleep.regarding the pelvic pain it is absolutely right as whenever the baby kicks the bladder then it pains. so don't worry.alos don't sit cross legged anytime.

Hi,

I read on a site that when baby kicks the bladder, we feel a kind of spasm or pain in the pelvic area. Even I used feel the pain sometimes. But now since I know the reason I am more comfortable otherwise I was a bit scared. So I think there is not much to worry.

Hi Mumtobe,
welcome to the August club!
I too have this problem both in my 1st pregnancy and in this second pregnancy. What I found over the net is 'It's due to lack of pottasium in the body'. The solution, Eat a banana every day! I am doing this the past 2 months and I see a lot improvement. Nowadays, the leg cramps are not coming on all the days which it used to be before. Try it.
BTW, when are you due in August? Is this your 1st or second?! My due date is 9th August and this is my second baby. : ) Enjoy your pregnancy!

I have the same problme now a days ... Sometimes its is very painful:(
cramps usually occur in the legs, they may be due to blood circulating too and slowly in those muscles. they oftern happen at night and early in the morning.Do one thing,,, Make sure your bed bed is made up looselyso that your feet are not pressed down with your toes curled under, Lie with your feet up, or get your patner to massage your legs, feet and ankle gently....A variety of medications may be prescribed but none will slove the problem completely...
Take care
Love
Rsemina
