Hi everyone
Smitha, Dhanu, Dipi,Reetu, Vidya, Debi, Shephali....and all of you...

I have started my 21st week today and feeling those football kicks very slightly from inside...

Anyone here doing exercises that are very important as per my doc. says. Due to the increase number of c-section deliveries, many hospitals have started emphasizing on exercising during pregnancy... they help a lot...this type of sessions also give you some meditation techniques and make you bold enough to face the pains during labor. It also looses your muscles that are exactly required during actually giving birth.... The exercise is very simple and anyone can do it at any point of time.... But it is advisable to start it seriously after your 5th month....

So sweet ladies...I hope everyone feels to give a normal delivery and for that you need to be strong enough and your muscles should cooperate you during that time...

It's my request to start it if you haven't yet... but do take some guidance from your doc.

Hi all would be mommies...

Thanks for giving replies...

Going to the same topic:-Exercise... they normally ask us to do pelvic exercise more so that our pelvic muscules will cooperate during labor...

This includes -
1. Few leg exercise
2. in one they ask us to lie down on our back and bend our legs in knee-joints and then spread...as much as possible...count 5 and close.
Repeat for 5 times.
3. Few back exercise.
4. Massage for breast and nipples.

good to hear from you....Thanks for writing abt exercises...I had resolved to start exercises from my 5'th month...but had not stared yet...so from today on, am going to go for some serious walking :-) !!!do keep posted if you hear abt. any easy exercises....

Hi jyoti, dhanu..and all our sweet mommiess..

Even I have been constantly reading stuff which suggests some form of exercise during pregnancy...I have begun doing some light exercises (ofcourse with the guidence of a yoga master). In a really short span of time itself..i have begun to find it really relaxing...My sleep too seems to be getting a little better now a days..Touch wood..:)

where are you staying?

i was also concerned about what exercises i should do.. but my doctor didn't say anything that i should specifically do.. may be bcos i never did any exercises as such before pregnancy.. Doc says walking is best ..at least 30 min a day.

Can you tell us about some specific exercises that you said help loosen the muscles and help normal delivery?

I'm very close-by then :) I'm from Badlapur, work in Andheri...

Our family doctor also is from Thane, who visits badlapur twice a week.. he has a maternity hospital as well in Thane, and later i have decided to be in Badlapur only :) not sure whether travelling one hr to reach the hospital will be safe!

hello, I stay at Thane, Maharashtra. Here at my hospital they have started taking it for pregnant womans..who r about to deliver in there hospital. I will defenetaly ask my trainer (who is also a Dr. in bridge candy hospital and taking similar classes over there) about how everyone can start this excersizes...

Don't worry soon I will tell you the exact way to it...
