My daughter had only one teeth emerging. For over 6 weeks there was only one teeth with no sign of the other pair. I admit I was worried and even thinking of dumping her ped and taking her to the dentist. Lucky i did not do it. In time the other one emerged. Today she has six of them. She is 11 months old.

Hello Sana,
I don't know where you are from, but in the U.S. they sell a gerber tooth and gum massager, you can also try to give him a prettsle stick to bite on because of the salt cuts the teeth through,if you dont want him to get any salt, there are gerber bitter biquits, teething rings, and just wait!! those theeth will come through when they are ready!!! If your baby is fussy because of the teething, you can try and give him baby orgel, or baby teething tablets or infant tylonol if he gets a fever from teething. but remember dont give your baby all this medicine, because it is possible for your child to overdose and get sick, but im no doctor, so if you can ask your ped first!! and there are many alternitives than giving your baby an injection. i wouldn't do that.
From one mommy to another... :)

My son's teeth have been erupting since teh past 2 months. He's barely cutting it now, he's 10 mts old. Some babies cute their first teeth as late as 14 mts; teething is mostly heridatory and it doesnt matter when a baby gets his/her first tooth.

hello jayashree
dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
