Hi Linda, i would say do not give any kind of electronic gadgets at this age. Its not really a great idea if you want get some pet home so that your kids stay happy and loved.

yes there is application available which play different sounds of various animals, but there is no need to search in google you can directely go to play store and you can download.

yes there is animal sound app for animal voice for android and it can easily downloaded so its very useful for kids in learning process.

Even i have seen kids being very attracted to animals and especially dogs and it is amazing to see that not matter what the kids does to the dog they never harm the babies its like they know that the baby is not harming them.

All kids strangely have an attraction with animals and especially dogs and it is nice and not a bad thing to love animals. Keep his animal love alive even when he or she grows up and teach your kid that animals have feelings too.

I think there might be any application which will play the sounds of different animals. But you need to search them in google and play it for your kid.I hope you find that particular application and make your kid happy.
