I have been told by my mom not to go out during Lunar Eclipse which is gonna happen thsi weekend...Anybody with Suggestions on the same???

girls,
i dont know anything abt lunar eclipse :( and after reading your posts, i am a little worried. since i dont know abt any timings or anything, the only precaution i can take is that i wont go out or see the moon. i cant avoid eating because i dont know any particular time.

hello vidhu,
thanks for reminding that tomorrow is lunar eclipse.I tried finding out the time of eclipse in India,but in vain:-(..anyways we pregnant ladies have 2 be very careful 4m the eclipse.Sum precautions what I know we shd take are..Eat our dinner atleast 5 hrs before the eclipse.(so that the food gets digested before the eclipse begins).Chant Gods name as much as possible.Dont Look at the moon.N dont leave any food items open,or dont leave any food items for next day.If at all u leave put a tulsi leaf in each of the food item.Thisz all friends I know.If anyone knows the time n more precautions 2 be taken plz share..

I think the lunar eclipse is seen only in India even my mom told about that. So girls outside India need not much worry on that front.

Thanks again for passing the info.Meanwhile evn I´ ll try finding out thetime.Yup u´ ve heard it rite,we have 2 cum out after taking headbath.But since this happens during early morning we can first thing in the morning take bath n start our daily chores.

hi meghnah,

My mom did tell me abt lunar eclipse almost a month back and asked me to be careful. But that time she told that she wud inform me later the timings and wht all i shld during eclipse. I read in Paper today that Eclipse is from 3AM on Sat to 5AM on Sunday...I would be calling my mom today evening and ask her abt it.
Will post u once i know the details.
1 info i got was: We are not supposed to go out at all or see outside during this period. And then should comeout only after taking headbath once the eclipse is over.
We shall anyway keep in touch thru this post :-)
