Hi all ,

I am sorry for writing this message in this board,bcoz I didn' t find appropriate board,I have a baby of 7 months,Previuosly I was working as Sr Software Engineer,but when I got pregnant I had to quit my job due to some reason.Now it is already One year ,but I want to join back the job.Will they consider my case? Does anybody face this type of situation..Please let me know I am worried about this..

Hi Smita,
I had the same situation as you. When my kid was 1.2 yrs I joined job again.. Though I struggled 2 months to get a job. Finally I had 5 offers in my hand and I joined one...

Definitely they will consider your case if you are competent enough.There are lot of cases like us..

Don' t worry.. Lots of parents take a brk for an yr or two. I didn' t have to, as my parents stay near by, and i leave my kid with them.. However, i know may of them who have taken break for 1-2 yrs, and have joined back..
There would be no problem getting a job, as the reason is very valid.. It' s just that some of ur ex-peers may get a promotion before u do, coz of ur brk.. Other than this, there are no worries at all :)

My son is one year old and he is not doing few things a one year should do !!
He does not point at things
He does not say Amma or any words
He does not pick up any objects and show to me

9.5 months milestones
My DS is 9.5 months old and does not clap wave or point at things !! I will put down a list which he is good at and which one worries me.

He is good at :
