I am very depressed...There r lots of ques for a new mom. Thanks to this site like u mother who r share their experience.

I have a 8-1/2 month old daughter.There r lots of queries in my mind pl help me.
1. my daughter has lots of hair on her full body and also on face. I thought it was vanish by the time but at this stage she has. Can u suggest any home remedies. I am doing massage daily to her.

2. She has not a single teeth. Doctor told me that this is a normal. But How to prepare food for her ?. Always mashed and liquid food?. She is taking 3 TF daily.
9:00 ceralac.../ Wheat Kanji
4:00 Fruit juice
7:00 Khichdi / Veg Soup
with BF.
Her weight is 8 Kg.

3. The big worring me is she is not Crawling yet. She is sitting after 7 months. I am trying to teach her for crawling but she can' t bend with the support of her leg and hand. She stands finely with the support of my hands. Her legs are perfecly staright when she stand. She does' t like to sit now. Always wants that anyone hold her and continuesly jumping at one place. If i place her toy for catch her she reach the toy by scrolling not even crawling by her stomach support ( I hear that some children learn crawling by that way ).
My all friend kids r even younger then her..one is of 8 and one is of 7-1/2 is crawling.

4.When is understand the things? . Like where is the fan ? or claping or come...? She is happy when seeing me or her papa. but when we raise our hand for her she never try to come in our arms by herself. She can' t understand we r calling her.She want' s to come but can' t make affort. What to do? How to teach her all the things?.

Apart from all this there is not a single health issue regarding to her. She never crying for any colic related problem. She sleeps very well at night. Her Toilet habit is very regular. She has not a single complain about walk up at night, Fussing about eating She eats what is sufficeint for her, After any vaccine there is no problem with her, She has never gas or vomit problem.

Only this she likes to see each and every thing. She sit always silently and observing every new thing if there is a kitchen item or tv or a something new thing or if somebody new person comes to our house..She silently watching what we r doing. ....IS THERE ANY PROBLEM??

Melrose replied. Your daughter' s weight is perfect, her eating habits are excellent. My son started sitting during the 7th month. Some babies DON' T crawl at all. In fact, these babies walk faster than good crawlers. Don' t prop her too much. Let her learn to stand and crawl on her own. My son got his first tooth just before his first birthday. Anytime before 15 months is fine. Give her only mashed / pureed food or small chunks of soft food that she can chew with her gums, like banana, boiled apple, pear, pumpkin, etc. She will begin to understand things like the fan in another month or two. As for clapping, you have to sit her on your lap, and hold her hands and clap a few times. She will first clap with her fists, then will slowly unfold her hands and will eventually learn to clap by herself. Dipali replied. Please dont worry...i dont see anything abnormal with your daughter' s progress. But please please please never compare your daughter with your friends or relative babies as all babies grow differently. She can stand so early so you should feel proud, its not necessary that all kids should crawl they can sit or stand directly. Some babies didnt get teeth even at their first birthday nothing to worry about it...... dont be worried or panic, everything will be fine. Wait & watch......just enjoy all acts of your daughter instead of worrying. I am sure one day you will post a message saying everything is going on well with your daughter. All the best. Dont be too worried. All kids have their own speed of picking up things and reaching milestones. When I read your query....I felt as if somebody was writing the exact things that are happening with my daughter right now!!! She' s also 8 & 1/2 months old....doesnt crawl much. Rather she crawls backwards. Stands with support. Not a single teeth yet. This was a cause of much concern for me until I spoke to her ped and some friends. Everybody says that babies take their own time to do different things. So, you also dont worry. Your baby will be just fine :-) Mandeep has given some excellent suggestions....follow those. mandeep replied. 1) Hairs - If i was u i would have let nature take its time. I would never use loni or whatever is it called to get rid of hairs, my son still have some.
2 Teeths - my son is 13 1/2 month old n still no teeths so not to worry for that as some kids have teeths later on i recently heard one of my friends Boy friend was born with teeths.this is really strange wot u say. so everyone is difference.
3 - crawling - some kids never crawling take my own brother he never crawled n walked staright away at 9 months this was 27 years ago, my own son has walked unaided from last couple of weeks. if your DD can stand then may be she will walk early.
4 - to early to understand where is fan or where is this or that.sing poem to her n do actions as this help like if u r happy n u know clap your hands
n clap twice . repeat again, do actions for twinkle twinkle little star, incy wincy spider or two dicksy brids,marry had a little lamb,the wheels on the bus go round n round or old macdonald had a farm eieio etc( i can write if u want if u dont know these once) u have to do milions times be4 babies understand them.hold her have fast song on n dance with her raise her arm n sing also babies love this.
5 - u r luck that your baby dont suffer from colic touchwood ask those parents who babies get colic, life is hell when u know ur LO is suffering n u want to do everything, but cant do it as it take time to settle down itself .again u r luck that she is a good sleeper.
6 - its a whole new things/world for her,she has to look n observe to every new thing. n regarding silent when she sees someone new thats also normal my son also does that to(U will laugh at this right it about my son, when ever we meet any indian or asian here my son cry like mad then come any gori u should see a smile on his face n the way he feel shy.i just wonder how he will react next tuesday when we land in india).
n please please dont compare your baby with others as all babies develop when they thing its a right time for them.
