Yesturday I had my 37 weeks appointment. doctor said I am 1 cm dilated and 75% effeced. I asked her when is my due date but she said she donnt know. I am little scared about my dilation. I am 1cm dilated is that mean my due date is near?
while checking my cervix I felt pain and I screamed. My doctor told me if I am feeling that much pain U must have epidural. what about u. u also have some pain while checking. I can bare the pain but about checking I feel uncomfertable.

She did my Group b strep test also I will have my result on next week.
She said my baby's head has fixed.
I have gain total 31 lb. my fundal height is 36. and baby's heart rate is 152. My due date is 22nd April.
I packed my hospital bag and have done all shopping. I am happy about my nursary.

I too had my grp B strp test in my last (34th) weeks appointment. I didnt had any pain when my doc did this test so I dont know why u felt the pain. I think it may be bcos ur dilation have started. Anyway take care and keep us posted on how u and ur little one are doing.

~ mansi bhargavi replied. u dont worry coz even i had pain during my internal exam.the doc will ask u the option of an epidural and i feel it is better to go for it.i am planning to try and bear as much as i can and if i feel it is beyond my control i will take the epidural.so i will tell doc that i need one.
