Namaste!
Lately I'v been feeling a little jealous of my pakistani friend. She is so beatiful and i feel quite ugly in front of her. I have seen many other pakistani people and they are so GORGEOUS, i wish I was Pakistani and not Indian. Does anyone else have the same problem as i do? why couldnt my Indian family ne Pakistani. They have fair skin, big colored eyes, and nice hair too. My hair is frizzy and i dont know what to do! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME BRING UP MY SELF ESTEEM? i knew this site would help me because it helped my friend so pleaseeeeeeeeee i neeeed replies....tell me your opinion on Pakistani people as well pleaseeeeeeeee. (dont worry i still love my India)

just wanted to tell u that i m a paki and am not fair.Everyone in my family is fair except my mom.Though, i m dark everyone tends to luv me more and that is because of my nature,,belive me it makes such a lot of difference.
U dont have to be sad...I feel that though pakis are fairer, the attractiveness u find in an indian girl cant be cmpared.People tend to look twice at me in parties compared to my sisters as my features are quite impressive.I have got bigger eyes and fuller lips.Most of paki girls are with small eyes (believe me)and thin lips which are not at all sexy!!! Secondly, height also counts and I can bet that more than half of paki population is short in height (females).
So dont feel sad...and be proud of ur mitti.

I can not really define the difference there are indians with fair skin like preety zinta and other actresses and then ones with brown skin like rani mukherjee do you think she is ugly because she has brown skin? she is really pretty, just like priyanka chopra she is really preety too and they both are not fair,well? looking forward for your reply, take care feel better

bonita replied. well i think you cant say that a specific side is more fair than others because its more heredity than region everyone has shift to different places, Neeta why do you think you are ugly? looks are not everything do you think you have brown skin you are ugly? every pakistani does not have colored eyes? my sis has green eyes i have light brown both my parents have brown see its heredity not really cast.Please do reply neeta rj replied. i agree with u that pakistani's are more beautiful than indians. they have lighter skin color, but i think that's more due to the region they belong. when u look at northen india, people tend to have lighter skin color than south people. i am fair skin color, and a lot of desis can't tell whether i am pakistani or indian, especially pakistani's. i more look pakistani for some reason, not because of the skin color, but more because of the peronality, i guess. and by the way not all the pakistani's have fair color. a lot of them like indians have dark color.its a mixed proportion. people from punjab, kashmir and peshawar side are more white. and people from islamabad and gujrat side are darker, i think i got it right. anyways i have made any mistake regarding pakistani region, please forgive me my pakistani sisters. thankyou. bonita replied. whats wrong with brown skin? I'm paki and proud with brown tan skin all my relatives are not fair but many are as well as many are brown It may be wearing burkas for muslim people which protects thier skin from tan and the sun but trust me its genes theres alot of light skinned people in India and Pakistan look at karishma kapoor and preety zinta they have fair skin vs aishwarya who did not have such fair skin when she started working in movies, its the fair and lovely creams that people use. well hope that points out pakistanis and indians look the same no foreigner can tell the difference trust me. azreen replied. hi, i am an indian muslim. i have a fair skin. i think most of the muslims have fairer skin. the reason is some of them migrated from arabia for centuaries ago. so it is a hreiditary. all arabs are white. somtimes i can't even differnciate between arabs & americans. not all the pakistanies have fair complexian. i have seen lot of pakistanies who have mediam skin. not all of them are beautiful. the way they dress up ,hair styles make differnce.lot of north indians have fair skin than south indian.when u go north, the weather also make skin lighten. so proud to be indian. we have lot of beauty queens in india. not all pakistanies wear burka. pakistanies are altra modern than indians. i nave never seen pakistanies wear burka here. Fatimah replied. Hey I am pakistani and i have an indian friend who complains to me about the same thing. She doesn't like being darker than me or my other paki friends. I just tell her to be happy with her self. The reason that we are lighter than most indian's i think is because in our religion women need to cover their bodies and so since that been happening for hundreds of years our skin tone has gotten lighter. Iranian's, Arabian's, Iraqi's and other muslim countries have been of a lighter skin color. Thats also why we have a lighter eye color. But i have seen many darker girls that are pretty to. Instead of feeling bad for your self try to enhance the beauty that u do have. And remember in the end its your inner beauty that will count and not if u had fair skin, or green eyes or nice hair. Aeme replied. Hi Neeta, I'm an average looking Indian girl. I've also found that pakistani rather muslim girls are beautiful (lighter in color) and I think the reason is their wearing \";burkas\";. Because if you cover yourself up when going out the parts of your body becomes lighter and because they have been wearing \";burkas\"; for generations, the lighter color has become heredity for them. And it depends on the geographical regions too. People living in areas where sunrays are not too strong tend to be lighter in colour. But I personally feel that beauty lies within the person. I have seen girls who don't have fair skin yet they are gorgeous. And the physical attributes change with time but the beauty within i.e., your personality, the way you think, you act never changes. Have you ever noticed that people who have a warm nature are loved by everybody but an arrogant fair skin person is liked by none. So I would say have a pleasant nature, everybody would love you and you would feel more beautiful. And don't worry there are thousands of people out there who, I can bet, are not as beautiful as you are. And be proud of what you are. I'm proud of being an Indian because of our culture, our heritage. I'm living in Canada, here people are light coloured but I don't like them because they don't have culture and heritage which we Indian have, which makes me feel better than them. I can give you two tips to feel/look beautiful. First try to be happy, always smiling. It'll make a great deal of difference. Second you can use a mixture of besan (gram flour) and curd. Apply it on your face and wash off with lukewarm water afterwards. You will see the difference by using it once only. Do let me know if it helped. I am pakistani and i know alot of paki people who aren't! In fact were pretty much the same cause a couple years ago we were the same country. Our culture is similar also the only big difference is that pakistan is muslim and not all of india is. The only reason we tend to be lighter in color is because of the area pakistan is in. But i know alot of Pakistani people who aren't. Here in America people can't even tell the difference between indians and pakistani's. A lot of inidians are gorgeous also like aishwarya for example she's beautiful. Well i hope this helps and be happy with the way god made you :)
