I am seeing a gynec. Dr. Poornima Ramesh at Mallya hospital. Does anyone have any feedback on the doctor or the hospital with respect the the C-Section vs. normal del. rate.
Also, any in general feedback or experience with the hospital / doc. will help.
Thank you! maria replied. Hi --I'm also visiting Mallya ( blore ) for my check-ups --I'm due in July .I would strongly recommend u to try Dr Fatima poonawalla --who I see ---if you have concerns about a Dr's normal delivery rate vs CS.
From what I've heard mallya being corporate in background --has quite a high C- rate ----so if u go there u shld be doubly sure ure Dr has a gud track record of N deliveries .
Dr Fatima --I've explored has a very sound reputation and will always go in the interest of ur health --ie N vs CS . a colleague whose 2 babies she's delivered N-lly vouches for her strongly --she apparently waited thru her long labour (more than 6 hrs ) --and others i've spoken to --including my own fly Dr.

Its finally ur own choice --but unless u're very sure abt ur own Dr --betr to switch to a known one --ask around for confirmations anyhow

Fatima even is ready to explore home birthing options --imagine in 2days age !!!
