I am slightly surprised that you are not aware of the word C-sect! C-section is actually e shorter version of Ceasarean section for some mums-to-be, it is a surgery which is performed as an alternative method for normal birth. The surgery is performed for some reasons, such as feotus distress in the womb, big babies, mummy pelvis bone too narrow for baby to 'travel' out' or in some cases women opt for C-section to avoid a painless delivery of their little ones.
