Hi my baby is gonna turn 5 months old tomorrow and has been on exclusive breast feed so far. The doc. has suggested starting a ragi feed from a company called Silver Spoon. Any suggestions on its pros and cons?

hi..
it can be easily prepared at home too ... soak ragi overnight ...tie it a moist cloth next morning and keep sprinkling little water till evening so that the cloth remains wet ..this will sprout the ragi ... once sprouted, dry it thoroughly for 2 days, then make a very fine powder out of it (using muslin cloth as a sieve)..then ur ragi is ready to use ... to prepare the ragi porridge, take a spoonful of ragi and dissolve it in water then cook this mixture adding more water as required ...ragi changes color once cooked (takes 3-4 minutes to cook) ..pretty simple ....

dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
