How are you doing? Did you decided on whether to get any help from home during delivery? If so do check for postpartum care doula service in your area, my friends told me that they are really a big help during this time.

Take care Mansi. Do not expose to cold.Take lots of fluids so virus will wash out. Be confident we can do it our parents wishes will be there with us.

Thanks for your concern. Yes I will definetly try to drink more fluids. So far I am not that concerned about my parents not being able to be here at this time & luckily with gods grace lets hope everything will work out well.

Hi Mansi,
Thanks for the posting. last week I was down with cold. But now I am ok. Noone is coming from our home. My husband is taking 15 days leave.
I too heard about doula. I will check about her. do u know how much they charge? Even I am thinking to hire nanny if afordable.
first one month we are planning to order homemade food In my area one lady she prepares homemade food. so my hubby will help me and my baby.
what about u? U said u donnt want to eat anything. Donnt do that keep eating good foods for both of u.

Here is their number: 732-910-7556. I too am planning to try them out sometime next week. They deliver all orders above 25$ and It also says that u have to place the order a day in advance.

ginger garlic

hi mansi, would be able to give me the contact info for ginger garlic. I am in NJ and I didnt know that there was such a place and unable to find it in the web. i really need some chappathis and subjis delivered at times.

Hi,

good to know that u recovered from the cold I too had a bad week of cough & cold just recently though I am almost recovered I still feel a hang of it. And the weather here is also not that co-operative :-)

For me my inlaws are coming as my parents wont be able to make it. So I am also looking at the option of hiring a doula. Let me know where u guys live so if I find anyone in your area I can pass u the info.

My husband is also planning to take leave atleast for 2 weeks & he is also considering the option of working from home for a couple more weeks till I feel better. Its good that you have already planned for homemade food delivery, if u r in NJ there is another group called ginger garlic who also deliver home made food.
