Do you celebrate Bakri Eid? How do you celebrate Bakri Eid or Eid-Ul-Zuha? Why do you like this festival?

Subject:  celebrating Bakri Id

I just like to celebrate Bakri Id. I go with my father and younger brother to buy goat. Then every body comes to our place to have mutton and Biryani. It just tastes so good. I just tell my mom to make Kheer also on this day. I have lunch and dinner with my friends and family, it is really a great fun. But I do not like the mess that is created at home after cutting of goat at my place. Not only mutton gravy and Biryani but also other items are made at my place. My mom just likes to make different item prepared from the meat of goat on this day.

Subject:  what is the relevance of Bakri Id?

I had heard that it is not “Bakri Id” but it is actually “Bakar id”. I had also read some where that its relevance is not about cutting Bakri or goat. I do not know exactly if some one knows please clear my doubts. I think that in some countries even camel, bull and ox is cut on this day. I am very confused about this festival. Please just let me know about this festival. I think that cutting goat on this festival is not relevant. However I go to my friends place during every Bakri Id to have Biryani. I just love the Biryani which is prepared on the day of Bakri Id.

Subject:  My last Bakri Id at my place

This Bakri Id will be the last Bakri id at my place. This is because I am getting married some days after Bakri Id. I think I will miss all the fun that we have during this festival. I will really miss Ammi and Abbu. I will also miss the food that Ammi prepares on the day of Bakri Id. However I have learned to make Biryani form Ammi. It tastes really good. All the guests arriving at my place also like Biryani which my Ammi makes. But I will come to meet my parents always and also eat Biryani and Mutton specially prepared on this day in future.
