Crying & Colic:giving up the pacifier

Hi all,
I need some advice on how to make my 6 mth old baby give up the pacifier.She has been taking the pacifier since 3 mths.Day time I can manage to keep her away from it but at night by hook or by crook she needsthe pacifier to sleep.She has also started getting itchy in the gums due to teething. pls help.

hi,

even my son used to have pacifier till he was 9months old..it took 5days for us to make him give up..day time we used to manage some how or the other but nights he used to get cranky...we used to take him into our arms and used to put him to sleep...we had 5 sleepless nights ...but atlast we could make hime giveup...so even if they dont give him....it will usually take 5-7 days ..have patience..all the best

i had heard this anti colic bottles are reduce gas in stomach, and that is good for kid health, my friend found the coiic bottle on beebaby, that is easy to clean and i guess is definitely worth the price.... - ramesh [View Message]
