Smitha- Good to hear from u, An exercise program really helps a lot. It not only keeps u active, but also ur system functions a regular cycle, u get good sleep and have a health appetite.
the first 3 months, I was just doing brisk walking, But I heard from my Dr. that in second trimester, we need to increase the exercise level. Here in NJ, it already feels like winter, so I can't do my usual walks, so I stated going to fitness center nearby, where I walk in the TreadMill for about 30 mins. I think its the best exercise, as u r walking in a good comfy pace and also ur timing the exercise. It feels good! and its better exercise that walking on ur own.
Dhanu- I guess u r new member, welcome to the cloub, u r going to have lotz of fun here. when is ur due date? Numbness in hand is very normal, though I haven't experienced it yet. It is due to swelling tissues pressing on nerves. avoid sleeping on ur hand, avoid caffiene in food and drink a lot of water.
Vidya- I also read that baby starts hearing from 5th month, and I believe it does, b'cos aftera stretch of silent night, If I am woken up with a noise, i really feel vigorous movements...so its amazing!!
