I ve very dark inner thighs and the area surrounding my private parts and the buttocks also are very dark. went to a dermatolgist and she said its a case of hyperpigmentation. She asked me to use HYDROQUINONE 4% and I ve been using it for the past 3 months. Im not seeing any improvement. I m feeling very very DEPRESSED becos of this. Im goin to get married early next year. Just 6 more months and Im feeling like COMMITTING SUICIDE. Please let me know of some remedy for this. People who have this same problem but feeling bad to discuss openly in the forum , can even mail me personally at itsme underscore kavi at yahoodotcom.

cillakat n sparklinpearl are correct. Its not uncommon.

Do as sparklin pearl has written n

Rub lemon piece on thighs n wash it off after 15 minutes with normal water.

It will lighten the dark.

Clean private parts n thighs properly.

Don’t be depressed.

Cillakat is right its not uncommon at all. Many have this problem.

Common cause of it is while walking touching of thighs to each other. Other causes are not cleaning that area properly daily n wearing dark panties.

• Daily clean that area properly when you go to bath.

• Wear light color panties (white is best).

i have this and i'm not indian...i'm a phototype III - which is kind of typiccal italian/greek. i posted to this forum in hopes of finding a threading salon in michigan and in NJ.

but anyway i'll just throw in there that it's not uncommon at all. i view it as completely no big deal.
