Hi,

I have 15 months old baby boy.
He is very cute.
From last couple of weeks , I noticed that he is screaming too much.
If he wants something, he will scream. If he is happy, then also he screams.
But most of the time, he is scraming when he wants something.
I know this age is very difficult because he cannot speak and we cannot understand what he wants.
He pointing towards what he want but eventhoug we understand he screams . I tried to tell him politely that good boys cannot scream like that.
After certain points, I gets tired of him and sometimes I yelled him and tell him that no to scream.
I feel that I cannot do anything about this.
I am afraid that when he grows older, he will be screaming boy.
I saw so many kids screamed and I don' t want my baby like that.

please please help me in this situations.
I am studying rightnow. So I cannot go out with him so often, But my husbands spend lot of time with him after he came from work.

Is it normal that baby screams that much at this age?
Any help will be appreciated.
I am so concerned about my baby' s scream.

Hi,
My baby does just that it is absolutely normal and universal. It is a child' s way of communicating his/her helplessness when he/she can' t get what he/she wants. Solution is to listen patiently and to let the child know he is heard.

HI, i have the same problem to with my 1 1/2 year old daughter. She just screames and cries. Insisting on what ever that she wants. As i am a working single mum have her after work from baby sitter was like un imaganable. So what I did was to turn on the tv in which i have a play house disney channel and bring out her toy box and drawing materials and make her sit in the living room and play. no doubt she tend to follow you around tell her if she moves from that room / space you will not entertain her. soon you will find that every time you are t home she tend s to watch the tv and ask for all her stuffs. this will in a way help her to watch a chnnel which helps their brain development in future plus making them be more discipline and helps you to relax and do your house chore while waiting for dinner or bed time.
Let me know .

Thanks Surikala,

I got the relief after reading your message that not only my baby is screaming. It happens with other babies too.
Actually, he doesn´ t want to watch TV at all. If I turn on the TV, he will sit there just for couple of minutes. He is very active that he doesn´ t like to sit at one place.
Also, my mother-in-law is taking care of him. He is fine with my mother-in-law. but once I come home from my study, he just want me to pay attention towards him.
I feel that I need some space just for myself. Any other advice.
Also, when I go to library everyday, he will start screaming the minute I woke up. Once i dressed up, he knew that I am going to leave him to my mother-in-law.
It is very hard for me as i have to go to library, prepare my lunch and he is doing crazy things so I cannot pay attention to any of my works.
Please advice me what to do.
