what is besan and where can i find it. im ok with my skin color. i am dark but i think my features are beautiful and skin color isnt that important to me. i think i might want to use the besan for my mouth area though in addition to the lemon and honey recipe because that area is darker than the rest of my face and body and it really stands out in pictures and stuff. when i wear makeup it is a bit better but i want to have even skin without makeup. makeup only helps a little bit not a lot. cillakat replied. consider getting a sunscreen with excellent UVA protection. the melasma (the darkening of which you speak) is from UVA rays interacting with your skin.

i use avene 60 lait (25 or so ppd) but it's a bit whitening and very very emollient/shiny.

besides the sunscreen (1/2 tsp to face/neck combined at least in am, but possible more if outside, sweating, in water etc) also wear a hat/large visor)
