Diwali is the time to have fun. We celebrate Diwali in our office and at home. Since my childhood I am crazy about crackers. We get up early in the morning take an oil bath Do our prayers only then we have our breakfast we prepare sweets wear new clothes friends and family gather and light lamps and burst crackers. There are lots of mythologies connected with Diwali. The north of India it’s believed that Diwali is celebrated to commemorate Lord Rams return Exile with Goddess Sitadevi and Lakshman.

Diwali is the festival of lights. First of all I would like to wish all people reading my comments a very happy Diwali and prosperous new year. Diwali means time to go for shopping with your family and to return with handful of bags full of new clothes. I celebrate Diwali with my family. We have a big joint family. We all wait for Diwali to come like anything. We also make handmade lamps with the use of special clay. I with all my other cousins decorate lamps and also colour them. Sometimes we also make candles. We organize a small rangoli competition among the family members. We also invite our neighbors to take part in it. Our building foyer becomes full of various rangoli on this day. We also choose the winner and give prize to the winner.

Subject:  looking forward for Diwali shopping

I was so busy with my work that I did not get time to shop till now. But now I am planning to go for a shopping with my family. I will go for shopping with my wife and my two kids. Every Diwali I gift my wife a sari and jewellery. I buy clothes and crackers for my kids. My wife selects clothes for me. We all love this festival a lot. My mom and dad visit us during Diwali. They bring lots of sweets and homemade snacks to make the festival tasty. On the morning of first day of Diwali I enjoy bursting crackers with my sons. We buy lampshades, decorative oil lamps, wall hangings, decorative wall pieces and rangoli to decorate the house. We also buy garlands of marigold and bulbs. On this Diwali I am going to be with my loved ones for all four days.
