entering the second trimester, some of us already in to second u/s. Neha has done 12th week u/s. share ur exciting experience here with others to cherish and enjoy. its good that this message board make us worry for each other smile and even laugh at some times (good eg: dont mess with my mom:)) ) for the unknown faces inthe same boat.

Hi,

Dear All,

I am in my 18th week doctor told me will do US in 4 & 1/2 months..can i do US in last day of my 19th week as my mom would visit me from outstation and wanna go with my hubby and mom.two imp persons of my life........

I am unable to recognise the baby movement as some times my belly suddenly pains and feels jerks at times........Suggest me what all this.

I am also eager to know the sex of the baby but my hubby strictly said no, will love to have surprise...what should i do......

my u/s

Hi All,
i got my scan dont today.Supposed to have done earlier... but my doctor forgot to tell me that.i just finished 14th week. Saw the baby moving hands (fingers were visible), kicking the just maturing legs (wished i could feel it inside) tilting head. everythign is normal and fine.was happy to hear it even though thats the news for most of the expecting parents.

Neha, i thought i read ur due is on 30th oct. then how it became 18-20th week by 30th april.im going to 20th week scan on the day 20th week finished thats 6th june.waiting for it.

Yes, still have not decided to ask for the gender. but i feel mostly,if some one says \" oh its a boy or oh its a girl\" and its a surprise once u deliver, still its a surprise when u know it on 5th month also. and i also when we wait to see the baby and feel her or him inour hands wanting to explore more abt the baby, and its a chance to know one more vitalthing thats abt sex that come across our way soon.i also believe it helps to have a more particular focussed relationship with the baby for the rest of the 5 months. u can address it by its sex or even name if u can decide before seeing it. but still my husband feels to keep it a surprise. so im also thinking abt what to do.

think i have written longest mail of my life.:))

ok take care... more mummies share the delighting heart filling exp here. i still feel the movements that i saw inthe monitor in front of my eyes.

Hi,

I am the other Neha here with the due date being 30th Oct.Sorry to confuse u.In order to avoid this i ve added my Initial.

I too saw my babys fingers and hands moving,legs were crossed.Here we are strictly prohibited to find out the Gender.But in the chinese calender it says i m havin a girl( dunno how true that is)

Am so excited that the gender doesnt really matter except the shopping part.

Hi Praveena,
You must be really excited to see the baby moving and kicking. Must be a great experience :)

I am not sure...but I think there is another Neha in the board, and you got confused between the two. I am 16 weeks today and my due date is Oct 14th.

I had my doctor´ s visit again today. It was just a regular visit. The doctor, heard the heartbeat of the baby using the doppler and did some measurements of my belly, and said that everything was good. My next visit is in 4 weeks and that´ s when they will do the ultrasound. Can´ t wait for that :)

Hi Praveena,

You are right, it feels so nice after entering the second trimester...not just phuysically but emotionally too. Can' t wait to have my baby in my arms!

About my 12th week scan, it just happened. The doctor wasn' t able to hear the heartbeat using the doppler, so she suggested to have an ultrasound...just to be on a safer side. The baby was moving...actually swiming...

I have my next doctor' s visit scheduled for Monday (April 30th) and will have the most awaitied 18-20 weeks scan after that...
Are you planning to find out the gender of the baby...me and my husband haven' t been able to decide yet...it is just too tempting though!

i haven' t done it but i heard about it. it is similar to ultrasound but much more clear. u will actully see the baby than just a figure. one of my friend did it. there is a fee for it.
they can even show u the gender very clearly than ultrasound. it is done around 20week.
