Hello Everyone,
I' m currently 5 months (20 weeks) pregnant, and we got an ultrasound scan done today, which revealed that everything was normal with the baby, except for the fact that my placenta is lying low.
In exact words the report says below
\" Obstetric anomaly. No obvious fetal abnormality detected. The anterior wall placenta just reaches to the cervix at present\"
My HB count is 11.8g/dl
We currently reside in the UK and planning to have our baby in India, but the doctor here suggests that it is better/safe to avoid air travel, which has now put us in a dilemma as to whether we should fly to India or not.
The plan was to fly to India on the 1st May 2010, by then I will be 22 weeks pregnant.
Could you please suggest if it is okay to travel in this condition ?
Our total flying time would be 11 hours, so does it make any better if the travel is split into 2 legs i.e 7hrs + 4hrs or is it better to travel in a single leg ?
Would appreciate a detailed suggestion on this.
Regards,
Srav
