Hi!

How are you all doing? Here is my birth story. I went to the hospital on 20th to be induced. They put in cervidal gel to soften/thin my cervix. So i started having contractions after that. Then it really painful, but still i had only dilated around 1 cm, so they took it out at night and started me with pitocin in the morning. I kept having contractions some 2 minutes apart, but still no dilation, so my dr recommended me going for a c-section or she said i could wait for days if i'd like, but i decided to go with the dr and they took me in at 4:30 and then Aanya was born at 4:56. I'm recovering fine.

She's a bundle of joy, but it took some time for me to bond with her due to painful stitches i couldn't hold her well, but i'm really blessed to have her in my life.

Thanks to all of you and esp Archie for being there!

Take care and happy new year!!
love
poochy
