Dear Friends,

I am 1 month pregnant. This is my second pregnancy. My 1st child is 2 yrs old. I am over weight.my height is 165 cms and weight is 90kgs. Pls help me with a diet plan that will take me thru the preganncy with the required, but still i dont put more weight. I am having high blood pressure as well. Looking forward for some good respponses.. thanks..

dont fret or worry.All doc's say that a healthy diet is more important for mothers at this stage since it must be filled with nutritions. We all know the things we should avoid are sweets, oliy stuff and all products that have high fat content like french fries, junk food etc.9 servings of bread and whole grains
make sure you have 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals.This way you will never feel hungry.I have copy pasted the below from a link that I looked up for you since I am no expert and this is my first pregnancy.I have put on more weight than i was supposed to but I am now focussing on less rice and more wheat. Rice twice a day is not as nutritious as rotis and therefore I have rice in smaller portions.
Fruits and veggies that are less cooked are a blessing.Why dont you egt help form your doctor and get a prescribed diet chart.
All the best
- 4 servings of vegetables
- 3 servings of fruit
- 3 servings of milk and milk products
- 3 servings of meat and protein foods
