Now the big DDay approaching nearer howz your baby shoppings going? For me, I have yet to select two main things. The Crib & a Travel system. Planning to do it by March.

Did u all washed the baby dresses & blankets u bought? do we have to wash even the sweaters & heavy blankets?

Hi all:

I just started doing some shopping mostly for baby onesies and blankets. I am planning to pack the hospital bag by mid march as all my friends are telling me its better to keep that one ready before anything else as like Sree mentioned we cant be sure on what surprise our baby's have for us :-D

~ mansi jenn replied. feel its better to wash all he clothes including bedding stuff, because baies are sensitve and with their immunity not well developed ,chances are they might catch any infection soon, the stuff we buy from stores might have been touched by so many hands ,, which might not have been clean.and lot of dust might be settled on those things,.thats the reason,, i would definelty go for washing the clothes and everything else.. infact i myself never wear any new clothes without washing..

I think it's better to finish the shopping sooner. For those with Apr due date, it's better to do it now. Most of the time babies will arrive early and give us surpises. My friend had baby 4 weeks early. She was totally unprepared. Finish your shopping before you loose patience :) sharmila replied. Even I have to get the crib stuff. You know the cradle is more common here. But planning to do it only after the baby comes home.
Yes, it is better you get everything washed before using it. I am yet to do the wasing and pack my bag. Will do it after the 15th coz thats when I am going to go on my maternity leave.
Hope you and the baby are doing fine. My next OB visit is on the 6th and I can feel that the baby is really running out of space. No more kicks but just curling and twisting. What about you......take care bhargavi replied. hi mansi

Better to wind up your shopping soon

Hi all,
