Hi hetal & friends,

My son is 9 months 3 weeks old. He does scooting. He lifts his upper part of the body till limbs and crawls. Sits upsupported. Tries to pull himself to sitting position directly from lieing down(not from Crawling possion), He could infact, but looses balance sometimes.
He can pull himself to standing position from lieing down, when I hold fingures. He does pull himself up with some furtinute support. Can stand and take few steps if I hold one figure. But doesn' t do cruising himself.
when I checked with his Paed, She said His legs are stong enough for walking.

What I can do to encourage him to crawl(traditional crawling) & pull himself to standing with some support(not hand held). He goes to daycare where I cant expect people to support him to getting up & walking etc..

Please advice Sandhya replied. My daughter is 10 months now but does NOT crawl, sit or stand.
She just turns around and roll on the floor. I did consult the paed who says nothing to worry as such and advised me to wait for another 2 months.
However i am trying to look in this site if someone has any recommendations to improvise physical activities.
So i advise you not to get depressed as this can affect you , your baby as your behaviour towards the baby can
tend to change

so take care and be optimistic & cheerful

Hey don' t worry about him not being achieve milestones.All these are nothing but exagerrated facts.My baby is 16 months old but started crawling only when he was 12.5 months old..and he is on par with any of the children of his age..There are also some babies who do not crawl at all but can manage to walk without any problem..
