Hi,
I have PCOD and 7mm galstone problem. due to these I have hyper acidity, irregular mesturation. Now I started putting on weight from past few months. I went to the doctor she did all the tests diabeties, insuline, thyroid. all are normal. coz of galstone i can' t go for oral cotraseptive pills to get my periods regularly. she gave me a medicine to get my periods and told me after every period wait for 40 days and if i am not pregnent take the pills to get periods. also suggested me to exercise a lot. Now I am taking healthy diet and daily 30 min brisk walk. I have 4 yr kid and don' t want one more kid. please advise me to get rid of my galstone and pcod problem. doc also told me prob 30 min walk is not enough for me. told me to do more excersie for 1 to 1.30 hr. i don' t get much time with my kid. I tried ayurvedic medicine also. it' s not helping me. i am feeling more acidic.

Dear Sunny,
If your gall stone is symptomatic, consult a surgeon and if need be gall bladder can be removed by key hole surgery.
Now coming to PCOD bit,you need to exercise, eat healthy and need to manage your stress.Depending on your body weight and Insulin levels you can be put on a medicine metformin as well as another Oral contraceptive pill which has hormone balancing effects,Don' t get anxious as PCOD is a very common condition with 1 in every 5th lady has this condition.
