Due Date Club April 2004:Pigment change

Hi,
Did any one experience pigment changes during your last trimister. I'm seeing a lot of changes, especially my neck area has become dark. Is this normal? Just wondering if anyone has same symptoms like me!

Hi all, Thank you much for sharing your thoughts. Someone told me, skin becomes darker if you're Itron deficient. Hopefully, it's not the case with me. Nisha, you're right, I'm having a boy baby.
Thanks again
Sree

Hi Sree...
Dont worry...look in to the mirror...wow..you are looking gorgeous with motherhood..
Just do the simple skin care and you will be relieved to some extent...

Actually I have a very good and smooth skin but there are pigmentation marks on my forehead and neck..

Take joiuce of half a grated alu(potato)
Add to it ground Masoor dal (lentil powder)
Add juice of half a tomato, lime juice + powder of dried green peas..
Keep for half and hour and scrub off with milk..
Voila...you look pretty..
Try and be happy..
Aditi

skin darkening is a very common symptom during pregnancy,i also have this problem,it goes off after delivery and in india, old people say that if its a boy,the skin becomes dark,(dont know about the logic behind this),but just to share it with u.take care.
regards,
nisha.

Sree,

Dont worry!!! Skin darkening during the pregnancy is a very common problem, especially around the neck area. Try putting sunscreen lotions when u go out and also rub a slice of tomato in the darkened area will also help.

But most of all dont worry about this. It will go away just like that after delivery.
