Due Date Club April 2004:Baby shower date

I am planning a surprise baby shower for my wife who is 31 weeks pregnant. The ceremony is being planned on a date when she will be 33 weeks pregnant. According to some elder people, baby shower should be done in the 7th or 9th month. I cant understand if 33 weeks is the 7th or 8th month. Any help in this direction will be highly appreciated.

Well its really great that you are giving a surprise to your wife. 33rd week falls in 8th month. Actually baby shower is done in 7th or 9th month, but then i feel its all upto you how u feel.

33rd week falls in the 8th month.u were right about baby shower being done in 7 or 9th month.i suggest u have a word with her or ur parents before going ahead
