What is the sleeping position for a pregnant mom?

Also my parents say that while changing the position of body from one side to another, we need to sit first and then lie down in another side. Is it so, and if so from which month we should be careful about this?

Sleeping on your side is good....either side or both by turns. And NO, you dont have to get up and sit and then turn....you wont get any sleep that way all night!!! Get a good body pillow, helps you sleep better.
