Name: Palla

Hi!
I know this topic is not revelant here but thought some of you might have had exp. and cud help me.My parents got their visitor visa approved on Nov 3rd at Chennai consulate. Today they recieved their passports and they have been granted a 10 multiple entry visa.

BUT on my mom's visa they have issued with
Given Name: FNU Surname: Usha Palla.
Where as my mom's passport originally read as
Given name: Usha Palla Surname (was a blank field.)
However my mom had got an observation done from the passport office before going for the interview that her Given Name:Usha and Surname : Palla

by the way FNU stands for first name unknown

Is there anyone with similar experience or any experience with name errors?
What do you think I should do next?
Should I contact the American Consulate at Chennia and get it corrected?
How do I get in contact with the American Consulate?

Kindly let me know. I am really confused.
