Hi all,

I am priya from Dallas(US)...this is regarding my upper lip hair. I usually thread my upper lip....but after threading there is this awkward discoloration i.e the upper lip is different from the rest of the face color ....and its really embarassing. Do all the girls face this problem or am I an exception? When asked in the beauty parlor..they asked me to go for bleach for a few months and told me that the color will automatically disappear..? I dont know whether to believe them or not...I wiould really appreciate it ...if any one of you'll could give some advice or help on this.

Priya after threading maybe you can apply a pack of bengal gram which is Besan with a pinch of turmeric r haldi and cold milk in the upper lip area let it dry for a few minutes and then you can wash it off with cold water pat dry immediately followed by a cream or a moisturiser whatever you use.You being in Dallas ,Texas should also start applying the suscreen lotion on your face when you go out since just using it on the upper lips would be ridiculous,I personally use the Fruit of the Earth Block up Baby SPF 45 PLUS UVA/UVB PROTECTION.You can get it in walmart or walgreens or target in the skin aisle area.Its reccomended for the severe summers as Texas is a desert.Also try rubbing ice cubes on your upper lip after threading.It may reduce the severity of the threading on your upper lip as the skin there is delicate too.Hope it helps you.Good luck.

i too have the same problem
i too face the same change in color but dont bleach it will go off in some time never bleach as you will make it as habit and u have to apply it always ... chemicals not so good for skin
