Due Date Club December 2006:Question to archie and others

Name: poppins

I am 37 weeks pregnant now and everything is going fine with me and my baby but I experience that my tummy becomes rock hard at times ...infact most of the time when I sit straight. Is it common as the baby does not have much space or is it due to some other reason.

Please share your experiences on the same. What should I do to get some releif as it makes me very uncomfortable.

if you don't feel them on regular interval and not for hours continued with at least six contractions (10 minutes apart) for an hour then they are 99% BHC and nothing to be worried. keep walk going on.

hey ...

what u r experienincg are contractions :) ... i came to know that they are contractions only after active labor ... !!

as blessed mom said ..they can be BHC ... the real contractions will also be the same way except they will be more regular , accompanied with pain and intensify as time progresses and stay for a longer time ...

hope otherwise things are fine with u ...

Hi Poppins,

I think, those are Braxton Hicks. They are normal.
