Hi Archie,

I have completed 39w1d,from last 1 week, has been suffering frm severe rashes, which was confirmed to be PUPPS by the Dr y'day. He gave me a steroid shot(Muscular) and Fenistill pills to eat,and gel to apply, but nothing is affecting me,am itching all over my body like crazy. My due date is 12th now, Dr wants to wait for 10 more days after the due date.

1. Would u suggest induction as soon as i complete my due date or shud i wait for 10 more days ??

2. What do u suggest for PUPPS,when will it go ?? Will it last till i deliver the baby ??

Pl reply. thank you in advance..

Golden,
Normally it will be associated until delivery and a few days followed to that.
Since you have completed 39 weeks there should be no problem in induction.

There is not much point in waiting after due date especially if you can't take this itching.

I know keeping skin clean and moist helps to some extent but in my opinion there isn't really a perfect way to deal with Pupps.
