Hi all,

I had my docs appointment yesterday and I am in my 6th week and my EDD is May 3rd. Touch wood I havent started feeling any morning sickness till now but I do feel hungry very often.

Do you all this empty stomach feeling every half to 1 hr? Whats the best things to have in this time? I dont want to gain too much weight as I have heard that it can make delivery little complicated. Please advice what you think is a good nutrient and not a fatty snack.

My EDD is 09 April. You're doing the right thing to feed your hunger. Fruits are the best option I suppose. One major problem I'm facing these days is that I'm hating to cook. I hate the smell of raw food! Btw, I am from Chennai, India.

I heard that disliking some smells & food all are a part of the game :-) dont worry just try to avoid cooking if you can. After the 4th month it will get better. If you can find a servant to cook for you till you get over this smell dislikes it will be great. Here I havent started anything like that except not having an appetite for sweets which was my fav before but I think its better than having any morning sickness, right.

You take care. My next appointment in on Oct 21st. I will complete my 3rd month then :-)

Ya, I feel the same way too. I am in my 10th week and now and then feel my tummy pinching for food. Suggest you have fruits or cookies. But once I eat even a little, I start feeling like I've had too much. My doc has asked me to have smaller and more frequent meals to control this.

Sharmila, where are you from and when is your EDD? I too feel this empty stomach feeling very often and I do try to eat some cookies, fruits or toasted bread but gets bored with them soon :-( I know fruits are good for baby but some days I cant even it more than one. Is it ok? or do you think I should try to have more?
