I am planning My 8 year old son sanjay headshave in the coming summer vacation
I had planned this because I had come across an article regarding benefits of shaving boys head regularly
Firstly He gets cold everytime and if he gets his head shaved regularly then that can be solved is that a right information
Secondly it cools his head gives more comfort
Thirdly dandruff and lice problem can be solved
Brain will become bright as the oxygen contact gets more on his scalp and many more is that all right information .please give a reply regarding this so that I can be strong in my decision to shave his head and maintain it by doing regular headshave on every week

Cold can be caused due to various reasons including water being retained after headbath, sweating etc. So yes, shaving your son's head will help. Dandruff and lice problem will also be contained. I have heard about the brain bit but can't corroborate: the brain is well protected by muscle in the scalp region. But - when you shave the head, it does promote activity in the region and hence blood flow. So the brain getting benefitted by the oxygen maybe right. But take care to regularly apply aloe vera on the head. Take advantage of the summer and keep the head shaved till about a few days before start of school. You may need to repeat the exercise every 15 days or so. But this is a positive step in the right direction and good for your son
