Due Date Club April 2004:getting our figure back

Hi ladies, my friend who just delivered aims at getting her figure back in 6 months. I thought that was a little ambitious. How long do you think it would take. I would like to have a realistic expectation like a year? :-)

hi selvi
the first 4 months after delivery u will hardly have time for exercise as ur baby will not have established a feeding and waste elimination process.feeds every 3 hours, changing soiled diapers12/day and dirty diapers
6/day,rocking ur baby to sleep all this will take away ur time.
many mothers choose to breastfeed upto 8 months even though other foods are introduced.as long as u choose to breastfeed,u must keepup good nutrition as it affects the quality and quantity of milk produced.
i personally feel 1 year must be ok.i have friends who have achieved this in 8-9 months also as they reduced breast feeding earlier.
bye
