some pregnant women experience a burning sensation in the chest.this is caused by the decrease in the lower oesophagal sphincter tone, hyperacidity and gas in the stomach.this gas tends to exert pressure on the intestines, the diaphragm and the chest.hence the pregnant ladies should avoid taking those kinds of food-items which produce more gas.when i have this problem i eat cucumber and fruits.also my doctor allowed me to take gelusil(antacid antigas liquid)twice a day or when i feel the burning sensation.u too can talk with ur doctor.

doctors recommend not to have pickles during ur pregnancy because it will increase ur blood pressure which can be dangerous later.well if u can't restrict,u can have a pinch of it but see to it that it doesnt effect ur pressure level.
