Golden,
if you want to have vaginal birth then go and walk no matter how hard it can be.
Soni gave some ideas on exercise along with them if you combine walk you will be fine with ref to labor.

Though for most baby can be engaged as early as 4 weeks before labor during first pregnancy not necessarily each one will have to experience this and this is definitely not a reason to schedule C-section. Advait, my first son, got engaged only when I was in labor.

Hi golden though this is address to archie but in my doc. appointment this time baby's head was high too .Doctor will be particularly interested in whether or not the baby's head has 'engaged' towards the end of pregnancy. This is because it is an important sign that the pelvis is going to be large enough to accomodate a vaginal delivery. In a first-time mother the baby's head usually engages sometime between the 36th and 38th week(apply to you )of pregnancy. In subsequent pregnancies, the head may not engage until actual delivery (for shia and me).
And in the mean time all we you can do is walk in your fours cat/dog walk ,clean the floor sitting ,squad etc. i know walking is espcially difficult since you will also get BHC.
I hope things work out for you take care
soni
